Norwescon 2024!
Hello friends! I am excited to announce my schedule for Norwescon 2024. Norwescon is once again being held at the Doubletree Hotel SeaTac Airport and this year will run from Thursday, March 28th through Sunday, March 31st.
Norwescon will be my first in-person convention as a pro/panelist since the world went all topsy-turvy in 2020 and I am absolutely giddy with this amazing schedule. I will have a limited number of books available for purchase in the dealer’s hall thanks to the generosity of author Matt Youngmark. Please check out his website, his table at the convention, and his delightful work for both children and adults and absolutely thank him for making room for Ruby and her wickedness during convention weekend.
Below is the rundown of where I’ll be during the con. I’d love to see as many of you as can make it during my panels and readings. Please check out the Guidebook or the Norwescon website for a full schedule of events.

Friday
Making Magic: A Primer for Fantasy Writers. 2:00pm – 2:00pm @ Cascade 13. I will be running this two-hour workshop on building magic systems that work for your story and your personal writing process. I’ll share tips, tricks, and known pitfalls (read: so you can learn from my mistakes) and you’ll leave ready to up the magic in your own work.
Reading: Amanda Cherry.5:30pm – 6:00pm @ Cascade 3. I’ll be giving you a little piece of Ruby’s latest adventures and I have it on good authority I may have a brilliant guest star present for the second half of the reading. I promise to be entertaining!
Saturday
Autograph Session. 11:00am – 12:00pm @ Grand 2. I will be signing alongside an amazing bunch of fellow authors. I am the least famous person on this list. Swing by if you have the chance- but I’ll understand if you’re far more interested in Jim Butcher….

Broad Universe Rapid Fire Reading. 8:00pm – 10:00pm @ Cascade 10. Once again the Broads will be gathering for chocolate nibbles, giveaways, and a delectable sampling of speculative fiction from multiple genres.
